Stockholm-based AI coding platform Lovable is growing at lightning speed.
CEO Anton Osika revealed that the company is close to reaching 8 million users, up from 2.3 million just four months ago.
Founded only a year ago, Lovable now sees 100,000 new products built daily on its platform — a sign of its rising global popularity.
Rapid Growth and Expanding Reach
Lovable has raised $228 million in total funding, including a $200 million round this summer that valued it at $1.8 billion. Investors are reportedly interested in funding it at a much higher valuation of $5 billion, though Osika said the company is not seeking new capital right now.
Despite recent reports showing a drop in web traffic for AI coding tools, Osika said Lovable’s retention rate remains strong, with users spending more over time. The company recently crossed 100 employees and is hiring talent from San Francisco to strengthen its Stockholm base.

Focus on Security and Enterprise Users
Lovable started from an open-source project called GPT Engineer. Now, it serves both developers and non-coders — even children and small teams are using it to launch apps and startups. Over half of Fortune 500 companies reportedly use Lovable to speed up creative software projects.
However, Osika admitted that security is a top concern for AI-generated apps. The company is hiring more security engineers to ensure data protection and reliability. Every project now goes through multiple security checks before launch, especially for industries like finance and healthcare.
Osika said Lovable’s mission is to make software creation easy for everyone, calling it “the last piece of software” a company would ever need.
