“The Joe Rogan Experience” has created history by ranking number one on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube at the same time.
Spotify revealed the milestone in its Wrapped 2025 report released on Wednesday.
This is Rogan’s sixth straight year at the top of Spotify’s global podcast chart, but his first-ever sweep across all major platforms.
The achievement highlights a major shift in the podcast industry as video becomes the main driver of engagement.

Streaming Trends Shift With Music and Video Growth
Spotify’s Wrapped 2025 also showed big moves in global music streaming.
Bad Bunny reclaimed the title of most-streamed artist worldwide with 19.8 billion streams. Taylor Swift stayed number one in the U.S.
His album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS also topped the global album charts with 7.7 billion streams.

The company is preparing a partnership with Netflix in 2026 to release major video podcasts like The Bill Simmons Podcast and Serial Killers.
